Quick search

To perform a quick search you have to enter only a few letters of the word you search in the search box (1). The search is not case sensitive (John=john) and the letters you enter doesn't have to be the first letters of the word you are searching (e.g. if you enter "ev", you can have as results Eve, Stevens)

After each letter you enter, Smart Reminder will perform a new search using the letters you have entered. At any time you can see the number of results in the right side of the screen (3). If you have multiple results you can browse through them by clicking the left and right arrows (2) or by using the +/- key on your keyboard (the ones on the right of your keyboard).

Smart Reminder performs the search in the following fields:

in the alarms tab on the name of the event
in the address book tab on the name of the contact
in the birthdays tab on the name of the contact
in the holidays tab on the name of the holiday
in the to do tab on the name of the task
in the notes tab on the title of the note

If one or more matches are found, the first one is focused and its details are displayed.
