Launch at windows startup
When checked, Smart Reminder will run every time Windows starts.

Hide program at startup
When checked, the main window will not be shown when the program starts. To view the main window double click on the taskbar icon.

Check for newer version at startup
When checked, the program will try to check if there are any updates available when the program starts, once every 7 days. If you disable this option you can manually check for updates using the menu Settings > Check for updates

If you don't have an internet connection you should disable this option. This will make the program start faster.

Allow the program to report anonymous usage statistics
When checked, the program will send a number of statistics about the length of time the program has been running, errors occurred (if any), most used features, and other data that can help us improve the program. No personal information is collected. If you don't want the program to send any statistics simply uncheck that option.

Password
If you want to protect your data from being accessed you can enable this feature by typing the desired password here. For security reasons you have to confirm the password by typing it again in the verify password field. If you leave both fields empty then no password is used.

The password is stored in the current database. If you export all your data in a SRD file and import it on another computer, the password protection will be active there too.

Language
Here you can select what language you would like Smart Reminder to be displyed. If you want to change the current language, select the desired language and click save. You will have to restart the program in order to use the new language settings. If the language you are looking for is not installed, you can go to our download page and select any of the available language packs.
