Contact groups

Each contact belongs to a contact group. When you install Smart Reminder 3 contact groups are created: family, friends and work. You can add as many contact groups as you want. In order to do that you have to go to the Contact groups management window: select "Contact groups" from the main menu or press (Ctrl+G). Here you will be able to see a list (3) with all the contact groups, number of contacts and background color for each group, you will be able to add new groups and rename or delete existing ones.

To add a new group you have to enter the group's name (1) and pick a background color (2). You can pick a color by clicking on one of the colored boxes (2). The preview window (4) will automatically update using the selected color. After you have selected a color and given a name to the new group click on the "Create new group" button.

To rename a group click once on the group's name (3) and an edit box will appear. When you have finished press enter.

To change a group's color right click on the contact group and select "Change color" (5)

To delete a contact group right click on the contact group and select "Delete" (6)

You can delete a contact group only when it's empty (there are no contacts in that group).
