The main difference between events and tasks is that "completing" an event does not impose the interaction of the user. E.g.: a meeting or a tv-show (event) takes place at a given moment, regardless of the user’s presence. On the other hand, the payment of a bill (task) is directly linked to a user, and it remains unsolved until the user makes the payment (thus marking the task as completed). |
To add a new event you can do one of the following:

There are two types of events:
To add a new event you first have to give it a name (1) and to enter the date when the event will occur by selecting it from the calendar or by entering it manually (2). You can also write a short note (3) about this event. The last thing you have to do is to set the alarm, number of days before the event you want to be notified.
If this is a recurring event, you have to select (5) the occurrence interval. The following options are available:
For the last 3 options you have to also select (6) the number of days/weeks/months.
